Training Services

NZ HEALTH International offers a range of training courses targeted specifically at building the competencies, skills and knowledge of health promotion professionals. Training courses can be specifically designed, delivered and evaluated to meet the needs of the clients or NZ HEALTH International will provide the technical assistance to support existing training programmes.

Social Marketing

1-2 days

The development of social marketing involving the identification of goals, target groups, identification of steps, materials, channels of communication, delivery and evaluation.

Effective Hygiene Promotion

1-3 days

The design and delivery of effective approaches for hygiene promotion including the selection of appropriate materials and methods and evaluation.

Health Communication Materials Development

1-5 days

The development of health communication materials including posters, leaflets, flipcharts, flashcards and games. An interactive workshop to engage students in the design, production, field-testing and distribution issues of print materials.

Collecting Qualitative Information

1-5 days

The use of a range of participatory techniques to collect qualitative information that health and education professionals can use in schools and the community for the design of communication strategies and the development of health educational materials.
