Health Promotion is the key specialist area of the work of NZ HEALTH International. NZ HEALTH International has access to a number of highly qualified and
experienced technical staff who can provide the necessary
support for the design, implementation and evaluation of
health promotion projects.
The delivery of health promotion services is
based on enabling people to gain more access
to the resources necessary to improve their health. This is
achieved through an emphasis on
community capacity building and
empowerment approaches pioneered by expertise
in the organisation to enable others to make informed decisions
regarding their own and the health of their families. |

promotion services are delivered by NZ HEALTH International through:
- The development of practical approaches to
build and measure community capacity in a project context.
- The technical assistance to design, implement
and evaluate health promotion and health education interventions.
